Old Town Merchants Association Formed

May 2011, was the first meeting of the Old Town Merchants Association. Shop owners met to discuss the future of Old Town and their shops on Main Street. Representatives from the Lilburn CID, along with Mayor Diana Preston and Councilman Johnny Crist, joined in the discussion.

The new alliance, Old Town Merchants Association, was formed and in the second meeting officers were selected. The new group named Barbara Barth as president, Hugh Wilkerson as vice-president and Julia Kilgore as secretary/treasurer. Catch up on the activities of the meetings on Lilburn Patch.com.     HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT HOW SUPPORTING THE SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS CONTRIBUTES TO THE TAX BASE OF YOUR HOMETOWN AN HELPS KEEP THE MILEGE RATE DOWN ?
